1The short answer
Digital files: final once you choose instant access. Time and membership: 14 days, pro rata.
Digital products are non-refundable once you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that you thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal — you tick that box yourself at checkout, and if you don’t tick it, the 14 days stand.
Services and the membership keep the full 14-day right of withdrawal. If you asked us to start earlier, you pay only for what was already delivered and the rest comes back.
None of this affects your rights if something is faulty, missing or not as described. Those rights cannot be waived and are set out in section 6.
2Digital products — how the waiver works
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a distance purchase, without giving a reason. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends early — but only if three things happen, and all three are built into our checkout:
- You give prior express consent to delivery starting immediately.
- You acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.
- We confirm both to you in the order-confirmation email, on a durable medium.
The wording of the tick box, which is unticked by default and which you tick yourself before paying, is:
“I expressly consent to immediate access to the digital content and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my 14-day right of withdrawal.”
If you do not tick it, you keep the full 14 days and we deliver the product when that period ends, or earlier if you ask. If you tick it, the download is yours and the purchase is final — that is your choice, made knowingly, and we don’t hide it in a footer.
Legal basis: Article 16(1)(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Portugal by Article 17 of Decree-Law 24/2014.
3Services, calls and sprints
For any booked time — a single session or a multi-session sprint — you have 14 days from the moment the contract is concluded to withdraw without giving a reason. That is the law and we apply it:
- If nothing has been delivered yet, you get a full refund.
- If you asked us to start within the 14 days, you pay an amount proportionate to what has already been provided, and we refund the rest. In a three-session sprint, withdrawing after the first session means roughly two-thirds comes back.
- If the service has been fully performed at your express request within the 14 days — a single call that has happened, for example — the right of withdrawal is used up and there is no refund. You are told this before you book.
The express-request wording shown at booking is: “I expressly request that Anna begins before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and I understand that I will pay pro rata for the time delivered and lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.”
Rescheduling and no-shows
Life happens. Tell us at least 48 hours before your slot and we move you once, free, subject to availability. Below 48 hours, or if you don’t show up, the session counts as delivered — the slot was held and closed to everyone else. This is a term of the booking, not a substitute for your withdrawal rights above.
4The Inner Room subscription
The Inner Room is €2,800 for one month, including VAT where VAT applies, paid once at the start. There is no auto-renewal and no card kept on file. If you want another month, you buy it again yourself.
- First month. As a new EU member you have 14 days to withdraw. If you asked to start straight away, you pay a proportionate amount for the sessions and work already delivered; the rest is refunded within 14 days.
- Cancelling. One email to the address below is enough — no call, no explanation. We confirm in writing within 3 working days.
- What cancelling does. It stops all future charges. You keep full access and everything included until the end of the month you have already paid for. The month in progress is not refunded once it is more than 14 days old, because the work in it has been delivered.
- Before every charge. We email you at least 3 days ahead with the amount, the date and the cancellation link.
- Price changes. Notified at least 30 days in advance; cancel before the new price applies and nothing more is taken.
5How to withdraw, and when the money comes back
To withdraw, simply tell us in a clear statement — an email is perfect — before the 14 days are up. You can use the form below, but you don’t have to. Sending the message before the deadline is enough; it doesn’t have to be processed by then.
We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method you paid with, at no cost to you.

6If something’s genuinely wrong
This policy is about changing your mind — not about broken things. If a download won’t open, a link is dead, access disappears, the content isn’t what was described, or you were charged twice, that’s on us. Write to us and we will fix it: repair, resend, or restore access, at no cost and within a reasonable time. If that can’t be done, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to end the contract and get your money back.
These conformity rights come from Directive (EU) 2019/770 and, in Portugal, Decree-Law 84/2021. They apply even if you waived the right of withdrawal, they cannot be signed away, and nothing on this page limits them or any other mandatory consumer right.

To be completed before publication — a withdrawal notice must have a real name and address to be sent to.
If we can’t settle something between us, you can use Portugal’s electronic complaints book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt, or refer the dispute to Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa under Law 144/2015 of 8 September. EU consumers may also use the dispute-resolution body in their own country. US consumers keep every right given by their state law.
8Why it works this way
A file can be downloaded and kept the second it’s bought, so the waiver exists to make that fair on both sides — and it only counts because you choose it knowingly. Booked time is different: you’re paying for hours that haven’t happened yet, so the law gives you room to change your mind, and we don’t pretend otherwise. If you’re on the fence, start with something free, or email your question before you pay. We’d rather you decide slowly and buy once you’re sure.
This policy sets out how refunds and withdrawal work in this studio, in line with Portuguese and EU consumer law as at the date above. It is information, not legal advice, and it does not replace a consultation with a lawyer licensed in your own jurisdiction.
